ANKLESHWAR CITY HISTORY :- INFORMATION ABOUT ANKLESHWAR CITY
ANKLESHWAR :- It is a city and a Municipality in Bharuch district of the state of Gujarat, India. The city is locate ten km from Bharuch. Over 2,000 register industries, most importantly, Ankleshwar Industries Association is the largest organisation in G.I.D.C. Therefore, The town is known for its industrial township called GIDC. Likewise, It has the office of ONGC ( Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited). It has over 1,500 chemicals plants, producing products such as pesticides, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and paints.
Consequently, the Population of 1,40,839 out of which males constitute of 53% and females 47%. Similarly, 13% of the population is under the age of 6 years. Similarly, The city is also connect with the National Highway-8 and by the Western Railway Division of Indian Railways. The railway division runs the broad gauge train services to Rajpipla.
This city is an educate city which has an average literacy rate of 59.5 %, with 56% of males and 44% female literacy.
