BARODA:-

Baroda city is also known as Vadodara. It is the third large city after Ahmedabad and Surat. Baroda has their administrative headquarters. It is locate on the bank of river Vishwamitri from the state capital of Gandhinagar. Baroda is the state capital of Gandhinagar. Railway line and NH 8 which connects Delhi and Mumbai pass through Baroda. This city is also known as Sanskari city.

Baroda has a professional cricket team, the Baroda cricket team. It has the oldest cricket ground in Asia, called Moti Baugh. The team has worn the Ranji Trophee, six times in reliance stadium a private cricket ground given by the reliance industries. They kept the idols of shree ganesha for seven days or for ten days before they immerse the ideol of shree ganesha in river and specially in Sursagar lake.
