INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY : Yoga word is derived from Sanskrit and means to unite and union physical body. Yoga helps in symbolising the structure and a health of a person. It is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originate in India. United nations General Assembly has indicate the International day of Yoga on 21st June by resolution 69/131.

The aim of the international day of Yoga is to spread awareness all over world for many benefits. Yoga is a spiritual practice which serves benefits to many people doing Yoga in their routine life without a break. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has address 21st June as Yoga Day.  it is the longest day in the Northen Hemisphere and shares many special significance in many parts of the world.


Idea of International day of Yoga was first initiate by  Narendra Modi during his speech at the UNGA on September 2014. Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It expresses the unity of mind and state of mind, action, thinking power, thought, fulfilment of dreams, harmony between man and nature, approach to health and well-being. Yoga is not about performing the exercise but it the process of discover the sense of oneness with yourself its also about the world and nature.
