SIDDHPUR CITY HISTORY :- INFORMATION ABOUT SIDDHPUR GUJ
The Municipality of the city is in Patan District in the Indian State of Gujarat. Siddhpur is also spell as Sidhpur. It is the headquarters of Siddhpur Taluka. It is a historical place and known as Sristhal. This is literally “holy place.”
The construction of Rudra Mahalaya Temple started by the Mulraja, founder of Chaulukya Dyanasty in thenth century. The climate is stable. During summer season it stays hot and dry. In winter season it cross the range of 20 degree. This town is a holy place around 103 km. On the left bank of river Saraswati the town is situate, upstream of Anhilwad Patan.

The town is admire by temples, kunds, ashrams and other holy places. Sidhraj Jaisingh from the Solanki Dynasty, has derive the name of city, the great ruler of Gujarat. In 12th century AD, temple of Lord Shiva was manufacture as magnificient temple by Raja Siddhpur.
Temple is manufacture so greatly that has wonder with a three-storeyed “Shikhara”, 1600 pillars, 12 entrance doors, central ‘mandapa’ and porches on east, north and south and sanctum in West. In entrance there is a decoration with the beautiful Toran with a flight of steps leading to Saraswati River. There were 11 shrines of Rudra, around the temple.
Siddhpur is famous city to visit at but there are not many flights are available to travel in. Nearest city comes Ahmedabad to this town. The city is well connected with all major cities. People can get easily buses or train to travel. “Bindu” Sarovar is most important religious place to visit at. By the passing days it has now been renovated.
