SAYAJIBAUGH PALACE HISTORY :- Almost  Sayaji Baugh is also call as Kamati Baugh. It is located in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. It was build by the Maharaja Sayaji Rao Gaekwad of Baroda. This is a garden. This baugh was dedicate to the citizens of Vadodara by Maharaja Sayaji Rao Gaekwad in 1879. Rather  It is on the river Vishwamitri. This is one of the largest garden in the western India spreading over 113 acres. It has a rich flora of more than        98 species of trees. This baugh is maintain by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation.

It is one of the finest garden in India.  Likewise Thousands of citizens comes here in morning to have pleasant morning and for morning exercises like jogging, walking or cycling. The garden is home to the Baroda Museum and Picture Gallery, the Sardar Patel Planetarium and the Sayaji Baugh Zoo.

There are three main entrance gates.   From the main city railway station and even less from the city bus stand, this gate is only 800 metres. All days in week garden is open except Thursday. Timings are like 5:00 am to 8:00 pm for garden timings.  10:00 am to 10:00 pm for train timings and 10:00 am to 6:00 pm for Zoo timings.

The museum was build in 1894 to resemble the Victoria and Albert Museum of London. It preserves a rich collection of art, sculpture, ethnography and ethnology. The Sardar Patel planetarium is situate near the main gate of Sayaji Rao Gaekwad. It has many shows arrane their and offering special shows to educational institutions. It has shows in English, Hindi and even in Gujarati. The planetarium also gives you knowledge about the palnet and stars.
