Vallabhbhai jhaverbhai patel is popularly known as Sardar Patel. He born on 31st October, 1875 and died on 15th December,1950. Sardar Vallabh Bhai was the first Indian deputy prime minister of India. Sardar Vallabh Bhai was a lawyer and a statesman and was a senior leader of the Indian national congress.


In the countryside of Gujarat, Sardar Patel was born and brought up. He was employ in the successful practice of a lawyer. In Gujarat, in non-violent civil disobedience against oppressive policies imposed by the British-raj, Sardar Vallabh Bhai subsequently organised peasants from kheda, borsad and bardoli.


He continued to promote quit-India-movement along by organising elections in 1934 and 1937. Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel is also known as “iron man of India”.


In 2014, there held a commemoration of Patel on his birthday 31st, October as a day of “rashtriya Ekta divas” or “national unity day” introduced by the government of India. Sardar Patel and his wife had a daughter maniben and a son named dahyabhai.



Vallabhbhai Patel starts roaming tour to tour in kheda district refusing paying tax. Sardar Patel got a tremendous response from the district but the government sent to police for not paying tax. Sardarbhai Patel forms a network to start helping in people to hide valuables things by doing farming in each farm. Then the government negotiate the tax for a year. Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel became the hero to Gujaratis and was admire across India.


Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel is the man who united the nation. The found by the civil people the best person. Sardar Patel is compare to Otto von Bismarck, who did the same thing in the 1860s that either chooses India or Pakistan or a independence. Gandhiji said to Vallabh Bhai Patel that state’s problems are so difficult that you can alone solve it. Vallabhbhai Patel is the man who makes the state’s people work together.


On 9th, August Sardar Vallabh Bhai got arrest and later he came to know the death of Madhav Desai and Kasturba Gandhi. Vallabhbhai Patel wrote a letter to his daughter that he and his colleagues were experiencing “fullest peace” for having done “their duty”.
