ROBOTIC CHEETAH 3 : CLIMBING STAIRS & DESK DEVELOPED BY US
ROBOTIC CHEETAH 3: A robot cheetah has been develop by Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Department of Mechanical Engineering. most importantly, The cheetah has the ability to know the unsafe ground or land.
The weight of the chhetah is 90 pounds. Associate professor in charge of the robotic cheetah is Sangbae Kim. Sometimes the robot will be slow. Two algorithms of the chhetah 3 reacts 20 times per second.
“We believe the Cheetah III will be able to navigate in a power plant with radiation in two or three years.” Exclaims Kim. It would be display at Madrid’s International Conference on Intelligent Robots in 2018. Air Force Office of Scientific Research also supporta the project.
Similarly, It is expect that it would climb a building on fire & can easily save a life. Similarly, it would be helpful in many different cases. Electronics firm Foxconn, Korean company Naver and the Toyota Research Institute is also supporting the same.
