Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple : About Ganpati Mandir Pune

Dagadusheth was a sweet maker. He was from ausa & settle in Pune. The shop of dagdusheth still exists. The name of the shop is kaka halwai. The shop is near Datta mandir in Pune. Dagdusheth was a rich businessman. he lost in son as he had the plague. He & his wife went into depression. Consequently, for the solution of this problem, he went to Guru, Shri Madhavnath Maharaj.
Guru, Shri Madhavnath Maharaj suggest to build a ganesh temple. the temple was complete in 1893. Dagdusheth was the close friend of Lokmanya Tilak. Ganesh mahotsav is celebrate with great enthusiasm every year.
