Veraval : It Was Found By Rao Veravalji Vadher, A Rajput In 13th Or 14th Century. It Was A Prt Of Junagadh Till 1947 When Junagad Merged With India. Once It Was A Fortified Port Town Of The Royal Family Of Junagadh. There Are Still Some Remains Of The Nawabi Fort And Nawabi Gate But There Are Also Some Remnants Of The Old Nawabi Heritage, The Beautifull Nawabi Summer Palace. Junagadh Gate And Patan Gate Are Still Seen But There Are Ruin Now.

The Nawabi Palace Have Some Strange Features But It Is One Of The Main Attractions. This Palace Is Now Popularly Known As Somnath College. Nowadays, This Is The Building Of Sanskrit University. It Is The Nearest City To Gir National Park Which Is Approximately 42 Kms Away. It Is Frequently Known As The Gateway To Glorious Somnath Temple And The Places Like Prabhas Patan And Bhalkha.
